GUILDERLAND — A Mississippi man was killed late Tuesday night in a two-car cash on Western Turnpike, town police said. Guilderland police responded about 11 p.m. to the crash on Western Turnpike, just west of Fuller Station Road. The driver and sole occupant of the one car, 24-year-old Vernon D. Baggett of Pascagoula, Miss., was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
