Coronavirus tally: President Biden leaves White House for first time after testing negative for COVID for two straight days

The daily average for hospitalizations was flat at 43,375, while the daily average for deaths is up 11% to 494. Globally, the confirmed case tally rose above 584.6 million on Monday, according to data aggregated by Johns 2Hopkins, while the death toll is above 6.41 million with the U.S. leading the world with 92.1 million cases and 1,033,556 deaths.
