See Mask Mandates and Guidance in Each State

With the Omicron wave subsiding, many governors are once again revising mask rules and making plans to lift mandates for the general public, and in some cases in schools. Here is a list of upcoming changes:

Delaware will end its indoor mask mandate on Feb. 11 but will keep requirements for schools through March.

Rhode Island also will lift indoor mask requirements on Feb. 11 but will continue its statewide school mask mandate until March 4.

California’s universal indoor mask requirement expires on Feb. 15, but the state will still require masks for unvaccinated people.
