3 Rockets Hit U.S. Embassy Compound in Baghdad, One Person Injured

The U.S. Embassy compound in Baghdad was hit by three rockets on Sunday. One person sustained minor injuries, a U.S. official told CNN. Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone, where the embassy is located, has come under rocket attack several times in the last few months and was the site of large protests of U.S. airstrikes against Iranian-backed militias in December.
