D.C. arrests clear 100 after Trump's Monday crackdown: Report

Law enforcement has arrested more than 100 people in Washington, D.C., since President Donald Trump on Monday announced his assumption of direct federal control of the Metropolitan Police Department.

A White House official confirmed to Fox News that the arrest total had reached 103, including 43 Tuesday arrests. The development comes as Trump has also deployed the National Guard to the city in a bid to crack down on crime and homelessness in the nation's capital.
