Influencers Across Spectrum Condemn Trump's Handling of Epstein Case
Summary from the AllSides News Team
Social media commentators and journalists across the spectrum have found common ground on criticisms of President Trump’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein saga.
From The Center: Glenn Greenwald (Center) shared a clip where Trump said his supporters were “duped by the Democrats” on Epstein and wrote, “The brazen audacity of how Trump is heaping scorn on his own supporters over Epstein, the complete fabrications he's inventing to do so, and the pretense that all along this was just a hoax created by the ‘Far Left,’ is almost impressive in its shamelessness.”
From The Right: Matt Walsh (Right) wrote, “There is just no way for an honest person to look at this set of facts and come away with the conclusion that the administration is in the right on this issue.” Tim Pool (Lean Right) shared a Truth Social post from Trump, who said his “PAST” supporters were “weaklings” falling for “Fake News” and wrote, “Trump is trying to nuke his base.”
From The Left: Max Blumenthal (Left) shared a video where Trump downplayed and dismissed interest in the Epstein case, flanked by United States Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick. Blumenthal wrote, “Standing beside Trump is Howard Lutnick, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime neighbor who bought his townhome from a trust controlled by Epstein and Les Wexner. Brilliant optics.” Cenk Uygur (Left) wrote, “Trump calls his own supporters weaklings for caring about child rape and says he doesn’t want their support anymore. He’s made his decision. He chose Israel over MAGA. This betrayal of America First is historic.”

If you thought no Trump voter would ever disagree with him, can you be honest enough to admit you were wrong? Especially when it is now so obvious that they did. You can't ask for more disagreement than this.
Here's why it matters - if you don't have honest conversations with...
The administration invited influencers to the White House, handed them binders that said "Epstein Files: Phase 1," and staged a photo op outside with the binders. Now Trump calls the whole thing a dumb hoax. There is just no way for an honest person to look at this set of facts and come away with the conclusion that the administration is in the right on this issue.
