According to campaign finance reports filed this weekend, Former President Donald Trump has raised $34 million so far in 2023.

The Details: Trump raised $18.8 million across the first three months of 2023, before a surge in funding following his indictment on March 30. Since the indictment, Trump has raised an additional $15 million. According to Associated Press (Lean Left bias), Trump raised $4 million in the 24 hours following his indictment.

For Context: Trump, who’s enjoyed a head start on fundraising compared to his Republican rivals, raised most of his money through his Save America Joint Fundraising Committee. Republican candidate Nikki Haley’s campaign reports having raised $11 million in the first six weeks since launching her campaign on February 15, however, some sources said her actual haul was $8.3 million.
