Federal Health Officials Suggest People May Need Annual COVID-19 Shots

Officials also said that recently-updated COVID-19 booster shots from Pfizer and Moderna are expected to be widely available this week. According to Our World in Data, 68% of eligible Americans are fully vaccinated. Of those, 48.5% have also received a booster shot, according to Becker's Hospital Review.
