Influencers, content creators and celebrities across social media platforms are touting the benefits of GLP-1 drugs, but many of them aren't taking them in the same dosages as most weight loss medications are prescribed. In fact, a concerning and growing subculture of people are trying the viral trend of microdosing GLP-1s.
"As a pharmacist, I've seen social media become a major source of health information for many patients," says Sue Ojageer, a pharmacist and founder of the concierge health practice PharmaSue.
