"Late Show" host Stephen Colbert is furious that CBS decided not to air an interview he did with Texas representative James Talarico (D) due to "equal time" laws, which require broadcast networks and radio stations to give equal time to all candidates in an election.

Colbert's show is canceled and will air its last episode in May. But in the meantime, he's not going quietly as he defied the network's request that he not bring up the Talarico interview situation. The host threw a hissy fit during his Monday night episode.

"Then I was told, in some uncertain terms, that not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on," Colbert said during his show Monday night. "And because my network clearly doesn't want us to talk about this, let's talk about this."
