Abbott designates CAIR as a terrorist organization

Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, this week officially designated the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as terrorist organizations, authorizing the state attorney general to pursue legal action against them.
