What’s next for Rümeysa Öztürk?

Now that she was granted bail — she walked out of the Louisiana detention facility where she was held for about six weeks on May 9 — Öztürk continues to seek a declaration that her rights were violated, and an order that her student status at Tufts be reinstated. That case will continue to move forward.
