I’m embarrassed to say that my first thought when catching up on the Mahmoud Khalil saga that’s playing out in New York City and certain undisclosed locations was “This is great politics.” Khalil is a recent graduate of Columbia University who served as negotiator and spokesman for pro-Palestinian protesters during last year’s notorious campus tantrum.
