Black History Month 2025 events in Metro Detroit

We're nearly halfway through Black History Month, but there's still plenty to do around here to commune, celebrate, recognize and commemorate. Sacred Spaces: The third annual citywide, self-guided tour of 15 Black-led art venues includes Irwin House Gallery on East Grand Boulevard, Norwest Gallery of Art in Grandmont Rosedale and the Carr Center in Midtown. • The partnership between Detroit's arts office and Irwin House lasts all month.
