Boston’s early voting totals down significantly from four years ago

Those ballots cast during the two-week, early voting period represent a significant drop in participation compared to last presidential election in 2020, when the pandemic was well underway. As of Friday, Boston has processed 91,213 ballots ahead of Election Day , which represents 20.8 percent of registered voters, Mayor Michelle Wu and city officials said Monday.
