Israel identified a Hezbollah bunker on Monday located beneath a Beirut hospital. Hezbollah is storing more than $500 million in gold and cash in the bunker, according to IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.
βTonight, weβre exposing Hezbollahβs financial network,β he said in a video released Monday on X. The clip features an illustration of the bunker built under the residential Al-Sahel Hospital.
βThe bunker was deliberately placed under a hospital, and it holds more than half a billion dollars in cash and gold,β Hagari claimed. βThat money could have been used to rehabilitate Lebanon, but it went to rehabilitate Hezbollah.β
