Black voters are turning away from Donald Trump after he made history as the first former U.S. president convicted of a crime, according to a new poll.
Trump's campaign has stepped up its outreach to Black voters since he was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records on Thursday, claiming that Black Americans can relate to being targeted by an unfair justice system.
But a poll conducted late last month suggests Black voters are not being swayed by Trump, who has previously been accused of racism.
