Far-right media pundit Tucker Carlson said Saturday that the U.S. government is investigating whether to charge him with acting as an unregistered foreign agent, claiming intelligence officers have "read his texts."
In a five-minute video posted on X and YouTube, Carlson said the Central Intelligence Agency was preparing a criminal referral to the U.S. Department of Justice. "What's that crime? Well, talking to people in Iran before the war. They read my texts," he said in the video.
