CNN’s fact-check section, Facts First, has a Left bias, according to a July 2021 Small Group Editorial Review by AllSides editors on the left, center, and right.

The review found that the page fact-checked right-wing leaders and claims far more than those from the left. Furthermore, it sometimes failed to provide sources for claims, such as when it said Rep. Lauren Boebert was “known for her outspoken right-wing views” without providing a source — an example of an unsubstantiated claim. While Boebert may be well-known for having outspoken right-leaning views, without a source, readers must take the author's word on that description.
