Brand is a Christian convert who has been outspoken against restrictive COVID-19 era policies such as lockdowns and vaccine mandates and free speech restrictions; he called Trump "compelling," spoke in favor of Trump's tariffs in the event they lead to onshored manufacturing and led to less idol worship of technological devices, and said we "worship consumption." Brand also called for a gang rape inquiry in the UK and spoke in favor of a CDC plan (under Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.) to research any effects of vaccines on autism.
