According to its About page, NYNMedia "is the must-read news source for New York’s nonprofits."

An independent review of NYNMedia by an AllSides staffer conducted in January 2022 determined that the publication has a Left bias due to its consistent positive framing of government financial assistance programs; focus on how COVID-19 impacts marginalized communities; and other progressive causes.
