About Newtrals's Bias Rating

Newtrals is a news media source with an AllSides Media Bias Rating™ of Center.

What a "Center" Rating Means

Sources with an AllSides Media Bias Rating of Center either do not show much predictable media bias, display a balance of articles with left and right biases, or equally balance left and right perspectives.

Center doesn't mean better! A Center media bias rating does not necessarily mean a source is totally unbiased, neutral, perfectly reasonable, or credible,just as Left and Right don't necessarily mean extreme, wrong, unreasonable, or not credible. AllSides encourages people to read outlets across the political spectrum.

Newtrals has a Center bias. An independent review of Newtrals by an AllSides staffer found the site does not employ the common types of media bias and employs factual reporting. Newtrals reports on topics including Congress, the economy, foreign policy and law. Newtrals gives just the facts, and does not editorialize or add unnecessary information in its reporting.

Newtrals writes "unbiased news, providing sources for facts and quotes used in the articles," according to its website. Its About page reads:
"Newtrals neutral news is a source for today’s news with the goal of being politically neutral. Political bias is inherent in media, but at Newtrals we do our best to provide a completely unbiased news perspective. We attempt to achieve this neutrality by presenting a story with just the facts, no opinions. Our articles are comprised of statistics, quotes, and facts and then presented in a concise manner which summarizes the story.
