New Jersey Monitor's media bias rating is Lean Left.

According to its About page, New Jersey Monitor provides fair and tough reporting on the issues affecting New Jersey, from political corruption to education to criminal and social justice.

An independent review of the Monitor in March 2022 conducted by AllSides team member Henry A. Brechter (Center bias) noted a focus on social justice issues and other matters of importance to the left, and a bias on the Monitor's opinion page against Republicans.
