John Logan is professor and director of Labor and Employment Studies at San Francisco State University. He has a Lean Left bias.
He has written several guest columns for The Hill (Center bias), all of which focus on labor unions and usually show support for unionization.
An independent review of Logan's writing conducted by AllSides Managing Editor Henry A. Brechter (Center bias) in September 2022 noted consistent support for labor unions and other views that suggest a fiscally liberal bias.
