Issac Morgan is a graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism and a native of Florida. For over a decade, Morgan has covered a variety of beats, including state and national politics, entertainment, health, civil rights and breaking news. Morgan has covered the Florida Legislature while working for States Newsroom's Florida Phoenix. He also served as a newsletter editor for a startup nonpartisan news organization that covers politics. In addition, he’s written for the Gadsden County Times, worked as a sports news assistant at a Gannett-owned publication, and as a communications specialist for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
