GQ (formerly Gentleman's Quarterly) is an international monthly men's lifestyle magazine based in New York City. It's owned by the American mass media company Conde Nast, and includes a print magazine as well as a website at gq.com. The company claims a monthly print readership of 5.4 million in the U.S. alone.
In addition to reporting on male fashion, food, movies, and sports, GQ also publishes longform stories on politics and culture, often with a left-leaning bias. According to its website, "to be GQ is to be forward-looking, progressive and cutting-edge."
