Owens is a Catholic convert and tweeted enthusiastically about growing converts to Catholicism. She has been critical of Israel and the "Zionist lobby"; she argued RFK Jr. may have been blackmailed after becoming Secretary of Health and Human Services after he appeared to flip flop on childhood vaccines; she stated, "While America is passing speech laws and demanding censorship to placate Israel, Europe is utilizing criminal pretext to control elections [referring to Marine Le Pen's banishment from running for office]. The illusion of western freedom and democracy is coming to a screeching halt. WAKE UP, WORLD." She stated, "The ADL is one of the most openly bigoted organizations against Christians, and they are enemies of free speech."

Candace Owens previously worked for The Daily Wire; she was let go in March 2024 after publicly arguing with editor emeritus Ben Shapiro, who is Jewish and supportive of Israel, about The Daily Wire's handling and coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.
