The American Enterprise Institute, or AEI for short, is a conservative think tank with research dedicated to political, economical, and social welfare issues. The AEI devotes itself "to defend the principles and improve the institutions of American freedom and democratic capitalism—limited government, private enterprise, individual liberty and responsibility, vigilant and effective defense and foreign policies, political accountability, and open debate." Even though the AEI describes itself as non-partisan, it is the most prominant neoconservatist think tank. Therefore, the AllSides Bias Rating™for The American Enterprise Institute is far right. With community feedback, the bias rating of far right is subject to change.
