In an interview on The Breakfast Club radio show Friday morning, presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden sparked controversy with comments about black voters. When host Charlamagne tha God told Biden he'd like to have him back on for "more questions" in the future, Biden responded; "Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black." Biden later apologized, saying he "shouldn't have been such a wise guy."

The issue has been covered widely by media outlets on all sides of the political spectrum, especially right-rated outlets.
