We use multiple methods to analyze sources. Learn how we rate media bias.Juno News Rated Right in March 2025 Independent Review
An AllSides reviewer rated Juno News Right during a March 2025 independent review.
The reviewer noted a headline that was opinion presented as fact: "CBC is trying to downplay Travis Dhanraj’s testimony as a personal grudge"; the piece also contained subjective qualifying adjectives: "explosive claims."
Headlines often employed sensationalism in the form of all-caps words, such as: "THEY BLEW IT — Canada’s trade deal FALLS APART."
The reviewer identified language on Juno News' About page indicating a Lean Right or conservative bias, such as, "Juno News is a new media company founded in 2025 by Candice Malcolm and Keean Bexte, and built upon the core Canadian principle of free speech and press freedom. These values were once the foundation of newsrooms across Canada, that is, until Justin Trudeau bribed every member of the legacy media with bailout money to help secure his reign as Prime Minister."
The page also stated, "...Juno also produces daily news podcasts, live broadcasts on breaking news, investigative documentaries and provocative commentary to break through the state-funded groupthink and woke leftist narratives that dominate the legacy media."
Juno News says, "We are not aligned with any political party or movement. We believe in open discourse and a free exchange of ideas, so we often invite people on whom we disagree, and we often don’t agree with each other."
