Government Assistance

QUESTIONS TO PLAY WITH:

-Often left out of the conversation is the question of what level of “government” should be doing the assisting (or not).  Should it be federal? state? local?  Does it make a difference?

-Also often left out of the conversation is the question of what kind of “government” should (or should not) be involved.  Should it be government strictly accountable to the people, or more bureaucratic government at a further remove from the checks provided by the ballot box?  Would it make a difference to you?  Why?
