Bridging Community

With political polarization hitting new extremes, AllSides highlights stories on efforts to bridge the divide and find common ground. In large part, this increased rancor is due to filter bubbles, greatly driven by online technology, and media bias, where news organizations rely on toxic business models that exacerbate partisan tensions and social divides.

There are many others working to ease polarization, increase mutual understanding and promote beneficial bipartisanship across the country. This serves as a resource to connect with those communities, take action, and stay informed on bridging in America by featuring perspectives from AllSides staff and guest writers and curating articles relevant to bridging divides from national media outlets. For perspectives from grassroots organizers working to bridge the political divide, check out the Fulcrum.
