2022 Iowa House Election
In Iowa, incumbent House representatives are expected to face an uncertain race after new redistricting maps shook up the state’s political alignment. The primary election is on June 7th, and the general election is on November 8th.
Analysts are describing three of the four district races as competitive. Incumbent representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R) is seeking candidacy in the newly-drawn first congressional district. Her primary challenger in the Republican primary will be business owner Kyle Kuehl, and State Rep. Christina Bohannan (D-Iowa City) is the most likely opponent that Miller-Meeks could face in the general election.
