Trump Admin Not to Impose Russian Sanctions

The Trump administration announced that they will not impose new sanctions on Russia despite a bipartisan law passed last year that authorized such sanctions to punish Moscow for meddling in the 2016 election. State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said that the threat of additional sanctions has already deterred Russian defense sales so there is no need to impose them at this time.
