Protests in St. Louis

Protesters clashed with police officers Friday night in St. Louis after a white former police officer was acquitted on murder charges for the fatal shooting of a black driver after a car chase. According to the city's police chief, the protests were peaceful until after dark when things turned more violent. Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets as protesters broke windows and threw bricks at officers. Several arrests have been made.
