New Findings Suggest Epstein's Death Was Homicide

Summary from the AllSides News Team

On Wednesday Dr. Michael Baden, a former New York City medical examiner hired by Jeffrey Epstein's brother, said evidence suggests that Epstein died by strangulation. Baden says several of Epstein's injuries, including the breaking of the hyoid bone in the neck, "are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings." NYC chief medical examiner Barbara Sampson, who ruled Epstein's death a suicide after he was found hanging in his Manhattan jail cell August 10 while awaiting trial, disputed Baden's findings and stood by the initial autopsy. Some conspiracy theorists have suggested Epstein was murdered, even going as far as suggesting the Clintons, Prince Andrew, and President Donald Trump were somehow involved.
