Police Identify Gunman in Maryland Mall ShootingThe gunman in the deadly shooting at a shopping mall in suburban Maryland on Saturday was identified by police officials on Sunday as a young man who lived in the same community as one of the two victims.
The Howard County police chief, William J. McMahon, identified the gunman as Darion Marcus Aguilar, 19, of College Park, Md. He is believed to have killed two people at the Zumiez store at the Mall in Columbia before he committed suicide, the police said.

Police: Gunman in deadly mall attack identified as Darion Marcus AguilarThe gunman who killed two workers Saturday at a Maryland mall was identified Sunday as Darion Marcus Aguilar, Howard County Police Chief Bill McMahon said.
Aguilar arrived by cab about an hour before the shootings, and his movements at the mall were limited, McMahon said. He added that Aguilar, 19, fired between six and eight shots from a 12-gauge shotgun. That included a self-inflicted fatal shot.
