Jacksonville, Site of Republican National Convention, Announces Facemask Mandate

Headline Roundup June 29th, 2020

Jacksonville, Fla. announced a mandatory face-covering policy in public indoor spaces Monday, beginning at 5 p.m. ET. The city is scheduled to host the 2020 Republican National Convention (RNC) and roughly 40,000 attendees from Aug. 24-27, after it was moved from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Some coverage from left-rated sources focused on President Donald Trump's reported advocacy for "personal choice" when it comes to wearing masks.
