Copenhagen Shooting Suspect Killed by PoliceDanish police said they shot dead a gunman on Sunday who they believe was behind shootings at a free-speech event at a Copenhagen cafe and a nearby synagogue a day earlier.
The suspect was shot dead on the street outside a train station in the northern part of Copenhagen after he opened fire, police said.
“There are a number of things indicating we have the right perpetrator, but our technical investigation isn’t complete so we cannot be 100% sure,” said Jørgen Skov, head of the Copenhagen police.
