Climate Deal Confusion

On Saturday, the Wall Street Journal reported that senior Trump adviser Everett Eissenstat had announced that the White House was considering staying in the Paris climate agreement, a reversal from President Trump's June announcement that the U.S. would withdraw from the climate deal. In response to the Wall Street Journal report, the White House released a statement saying that there had been no change in its stance on the climate accord. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also confirmed this sentiment on Twitter.
