8 Dead in Indianapolis FedEx Shooting

Summary from the AllSides News Team

At least eight people were shot and killed at a FedEx facility near Indianapolis International Airport late Thursday. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the reported shooting, where they found an "active shooter incident." It is still unknown whether the gunman, who took his own life, was an employee of the FedEx facility, and what the reason and cause for this incident might be. It was the latest in a recent string of mass shootings across the U.S. Last month, eight people were fatally shot at massage businesses across the Atlanta area, and 10 died in gunfire at a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado.
