Molasses rail car creates sticky situation in Huron
HURON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Huron Fire Department responded to an explosion early Monday morning and found a rail car rapidly ventilating the molasses it contained.
The call came in just after 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Molasses was found on US Hwy 14 West as well as Old Hwy 14 East.
Due to the wind fallout, molasses was found as far as 3rd Street and Lincoln Ave South,
