Amtrak train derails after hitting downed tree in Franklin County
No one was injured Monday when an Amtrak train derailed after hitting a downed tree in Franklin County, authorities said.
The derailment happened about 5 p.m. Monday east of Washington, Missouri, near Highway 100. The train carried about 120 people.
