Man critical after hit-and-run near Douglass Park
CHICAGO — A man was critically injured following a hit-and-run Thursday evening near Douglass Park.
Police said a 69-year-old man was in the 2000 block of South California when an unknown vehicle struck him.
The vehicle did not stop.
The man sustained major trauma to the head and body. He was transported to Mt. Sinai in critical condition.
No one is in custody.
