Two wind farm projects off the coast of New Jersey cancelled
CAPE MAY COUNTY, Nj. - Ørsted, the company proposing to build the Skipjack Wind Farm off the coast of Delmarva, has cancelled two offshore wind projects in New Jersey.
Those projects were slated to be built 15 miles off the coast of Atlantic and Cape May counties.
CNBC is reporting that Ørsted is instead taking a $4 billion impairment for the first nine months of the year.
