Anderson Co. teacher charged with not reporting abuse in classroom
ANDERSON — An Anderson School District 5 teacher was arrested after deputies say she broke her mandatory reporting obligation when she didn't report several times a young girl was inappropriately touched in the classroom. Dana Elizabeth Bowen, 57, of Anderson was charged with two counts of failure to report child abuse or neglect, according to an Anderson County Sheriff's Office news release.
