4th earthquake reported in Midlands in March
ELGIN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The United States Geological Survey said another earthquake was reported in the Midlands early Sunday morning.
According to the USGS, the 2.1 magnitude earthquake hit at 2:22 a.m. and had a depth of 4 kilometers.
Officials said the quake was 3.4 miles east southeast of Elgin and 20.2 miles east northeast of Columbia.
