Gunshot hits window of Chicago Intrinsic Schools campus in Irving Park; nobody injured, school not on lockdown
According to Chicago police, just prior to 9:30 a.m., someone discharged a firearm in the 4500 block of West Belmont Avenue, near the Irving Park campus location of Chicago Intrinsic Schools. The outer pane of a glass window at the school was struck, police say, but the shot did not penetrate the second layer of glass. Student accused in Shea High School lockdown expected in court
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — 18-year-old Nakai Jackson is expected in court Wednesday, accused of making threats that led to a Shea High School lockdown.
Jackson is charged with disorderly conduct and has pleaded not guilty.
