Police officer shot in Boston; suspect in custody

Boston police officer hospitalized in Dorchester shooting
An officer with the Boston Police Department was hospitalized after being shot Monday in Dorchester.
Police confirm the officer was taken to Boston Medical Center after the shooting on Esmond Street.
The officer's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
