Harford County man sentenced to life in 2017 murder of Baltimore City firefighter
A judge on Thursday sentenced a Harford County man to life in prison in the 2017 murder of a city firefighter recruit. In June, a Baltimore City jury convicted Daniel Greene, 41, of first-degree murder and other charges related to the November 2017 death of Jon Hickey. Police conducting a wellness check at Hickey’s Upper Fells Point home discovered him dead with a gunshot wound in his head.

17-year-old girl in critical condition following a shooting in West Baltimore
BALTIMORE — A 17-year-old girl is in critical condition Thursday following a shooting in West Baltimore.
